Sunroom Project

A sunroom, sun parlour, sun porch, or sun lounge is a structure usually constructed onto the side or the back of a house.  It is usually added to allow the enjoyment of the surrounding landscape views while being sheltered from adverse weather conditions of rain, wind and snow.   Over the years, construction techniques have made sunrooms more affordable and desirable.   From a regulatory standpoint, a sunroom is considered an addition and therefore requires a building permit and often a development permit before construction.
